Fresher cum Farewell Party-PARWAJ

On the last day of NPW-2018, Closing Ceremony of NPW with Freshers cum farewell Party-PARWAZ was organised in Association with AIPBS Alumni Association in Adesh University auditorium. Chief Guest of the day Dr. G.P.I Singh, Vice Chancellor, Col. Jagdev Singh, Registrar, Dr. Avtar Singh Bansal, Medical Supdt, Dr. Harkiran Kaur, Dean Faculty & Research, Principals of constituent colleges and other dignitaries of Adesh University opened the session with candle light ceremony. Dr. H C Patil, Principal welcomed the Chief Guest, Dignitaries, Staff, AIPBS Students alumni and briefed the glimpse of NPW. The Students mesmerized the audience with extravenza performence with various cultural activities like Classical Dance, Solo Dance, Group Dance, Song, Giddha, Bhangra etc to guidance and support to make this Pharmacy week celebration a grand success. The Judges selected Mr.Aftab Alam as Mr. fresher & Ms.Raushani as Miss. Fresher of B. Pharmacy and Mr.Navjot Singh and Ms.Puneet Kaur of Doctor of Pharmacy. Mr. & Ms. farewell received by Mr. Ravneet Singh and Miss kanupriya respectively. Dr. H.C. Patil, Principal, AIPBS on behalf of staff and students sincerely thanked Management, distinguished dignitaries & staff members of Adesh University for gracing the occasion and providing their valuable support for successful completion of NPW-20 18. Overall, our each moment of this week was started with blessings of Almighty God. I hold my hands & thank Almighty God for providing courage & blessings to achieve our team goal with flying colours

National Seminar and Poster Presentation Competition

4th One day National seminar on theme Role of health professionals for healthy India was organised on 7th day of NPW. The Chief Guest of the day Dr. R. K. Goel, President, APTI, (Punjab Branch) and Professor, Dept. of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Drug Research, Punjabi University Patiala inaugurated the session along with distinguished dignitaries of Adesh University, Dr, Sandeep Arora, Director, Chitkara College of Pharmacy, Dr. Rahul Deshmukh, Associate Professor, MRSPTU, Bathinda, Dr. Shubeet Kumar Jain, Professor, HOD, GNDU, Amritsar, Dr. Gautam Rath, Prof, HOD, ISFCOP, Moga, Mr. Simranjeet Singh Bedi, PV Specalist, Parexal international, Chd. Were present as resource persons. The faculty & students of constituent colleges of Adesh University had actively participated and appreciated the scientific knowledge & skills discussed during scientific session of the seminar. On the same day Poster Presentation Competition has been organised. Participating students in the competition were instructed to prepare poster and showcased their artistic knowledge & skills which made the judges decision a competitive one. Mr. Jagdeep Singh & Miss. Puneet Kaur-(Poster No. 29) got 1st position, Miss Hashmeet Kaur(Poster No.02 ) got 2nd Position and Mr.Vishal and Mr. Balram(Poster No. 20) got 3rd position. The Chief Guest & Judges appreciated a lot for the inner creativity of the participated students.

Day-6: Fest Zyaka

A child is born without knowledge and skills, and they continuously - participate in competitions every part of the life, developing skills and knowledge through a learning process. On sixth day of NPW- 2018 the Institute has organised Fest-Zyaka competition. The chief guest of the day Col. Jagdev Singh, Registrar, Adesh University graced this occasion along with Dr. G.P.I Singh Vice Chancellor, Mrs. Prabhjeet Kaur, Member of Advisory Committee, Gurdwara sahib, Dr. Harkiran Kaur, Dean Faculty & Research, Dr. G. L. Sharma, Principal AIMSR and other dignitaries of Adesh University and appreciated the quality of different types of delicious food prepared by students and other creativity stalls during innovative fest competition. The chief guest along with judges & dignitaries awarded the best stall of the events. Ms. Hardeep Kaur Stall No. 10- Sprouts Chat Stall got 1st position and Vidushi Sharma Stall No. 3-Saag Makki ki roti got 2nd position and Maanvi Stall No. 8-Cutlets got 3rd position. A Special Award was recommended by dignitaries to Kashmiri students for Kashmiri Tea -Stall No.6. The Chief Guest, Judges and distinguished dignitaries of Adesh University had appreciated the creativity & outstanding performance of students under the guidance of faculty members of AIPBS.

Day-5: Essay Competition

On the fifth day, Essay writing competition on life and teaching of Shri. Guru Teg Bhadur Ji. Students of AIPBS shared their views by writing essay on this theme. Mrs. Prabhjeet kaur, Member of Advisory Committee, Gurdwara sahib,Adesh University graced this occasion as Chief Guest along with University authorities and judges. The chief Guest awarded the winners of Essay competition. Miss. Navneet Kaur of Pharm.D 4th yr & Miss Prabhdeep Kaur (B.Pharm 4th yr) got 1st prizes, Miss Rajwinder kaur (B.Pharm 4th yr) got 2nd prize and Mr. Jhirmal Singh(B.Pharm 3rd yr) got 3rd prize

Day-4 NSS Camp, Plantation, Pot Painting Competition and Blood Donation

The 4th day of the NPW is organised in view of 5th Swachh Catnpus Abhiyan-Clean & Green Environtnent activity in AIPBS catnpus. The students voluntarily interested to participate in Swachh Catnpus abhiyan to keep catnps clean & green for contribution towards well-being of society. The students were segregated voluntarily in groups according to their hobbies & interest in social activities like volunteer Blood Donation, Pot Painting cotnpletion, Sapling of Plants. The chief Guest of the day Dr. (Brig.) Avtar Singh Bansal, Medical supdt, Adesh Hospital graced this occasion along with other dignitaries of Adesh University by sapling a plants with faculty & students. The awarded trophies for 20 students who had voluntarily donated blood, Prizes to best pot painting students (Mr. M.D Chand Miss Sushtna and Miss Harsimran with 1st, 2nd 3rd Prize respectively). The closing Ceretnony of NSS catnp was concluded with National anthetn.

Day-3: : 01 December 2018 Outdoor Games: Cricket Tournament

On third day an outdoor Game (Inter class cricket matches) was organized to create team spirit & positive energy to boost the mental & physical health of students. Dr. Bhupinder Singh, Director Sports, MRSPTU Bathinda graced the occasion as a Chief Guest to open the session along with Dr. H C Patil, Principal, AIPBS and other Dignitaries of Adesh University. The Final Match of Cricket Tournament Played between B.Pharm 4th yr and Pharm.D "B Team". The match winner trophy received by Pharm.D "B Team" and man of the match trophy was taken over by Mr. Narinder Singh for scoring 35 runs and took 2 wickets in final match. Dr. G.L. Sharma (Principal AIIMSR), Dr. H C Patil, Principal and other dignitaries awarded winners & runner-ups team with medal & trophy and congratulated to all students for healthy participation.

Day-2: "Slogan Competition" on 9th December 2018

To itnprove the confidence level & presentation skills of students, a slogan cotnpetition was organized based on thetne 'Role of health professionals for healthy India'. Students had prepared their slogans on charts as per thetne & presented. The Judges appreciated the creativity & presentation of students with different ideas and selected the best to finalize the positions. The 1st position received by Ms. Hardeep Kaur (Pharm.D 2nd yr), 2nd Position by Mr. Ashotosh Mishra (B.Pharm 1st setn) and 3rd Position by Mr. Jahangir alatn (B.Pharm 1stsetn) respectively.

The 57th National Pharmacy Week (NPW) - Slogan competition Day 01

Day-1: "Indoor Games" on 8th December 2018 The first day of NPW started with a Pharmacist Oath to understand our role & responsibilities for safety & well-being of Society. The institute had organized Indoor games competition to promote students to participate in games like Carom, Chess and Badminton. Dr. H. C. Patil, Principal, AIPBS warmly welcomed the Chief Guest of the day Dr. G. L. Sharma Principal, AIMSR and Other Dignitaries and requested to open the session by playing a opening shot for all gatnes. The winner of carotn Mr. Mudasir and Mr. Yassen (B.Pharm 1st setn), Runner up Mr. Rajesh(B.Pharm 3rd setn)and Mr. jagjot (Pharm.D 4th yr). Winner girls of carotn Miss Harmanpreet Kaur and Miss Parul (Pharm.D 2ndyr) and runner up of girls Miss Gagandeep Kaur and Miss Ritu (B.Pharm 3rd setn).Winners of chess Mr. Sunil Kutnar (Pharm.D4thyr)and runner up Mr.Chetan (B.Pharm 3rd yr). The winners of boys Badtninton were Mr. Lovish kansal (Phartn.D4thyr) and Mr. Narinderpal singh (Pharm.D3rdyr) and the runner up were Mr. Siddhant (Phartn.D 3rdyr) and Mr. Pranav (Phartn.D 2nd yr). The winners of girls badtninton were Miss Pavneet Kaur (Phartn.D 4th yr) and Miss Divya (Phartn.D3rdyr) and the runner up girls were Miss Jyoti (Pharm.D 2nd yr) and Miss Hitika (Pharm.D lstyr). The Chief Guest distributed prizes to the winners of carotn, chess, Badtninton and shared his views with students.
