The establishment of Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) by institutions is a major step in pushing long-term quality standards. IQAC in any institution is a significant administrative body that is responsible for all quality matters. It is the prime responsibility of IQAC to initiate, plan and supervise various activities that are necessary to increase the quality of the education imparted in an institution. The role of IQAC in maintaining quality standards in teaching, learning and evaluation becomes crucial, and the present research is therefore undertaken on a smaller scale to determine the exact status and functioning of IQAC and its outcome. The functions of this cell as follows:

• a. Arrange the Programme cell, BoS, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences
• b. Coordinate quality-related activities by developing an organized methodology of documentation and internal communication.
• c. Integrating the activities of the College to ensure adoption and dissemination of good practices.
• d. Spearheading the conduct of internal and external Academic Audits of departments to promote quality, accountability and transparency.
• e. Creating and maintaining a system of feedback on processes and policies of the College from stakeholders.
• f. Initiating and coordinating the process of restructuring the syllabus to create a progressive curriculum that is in tune with the demands of the time.

Grievance handling procedure will contribute to the maintaining the harmonious environment in the organization. The Grievance Redressal Cell has come up with a lot of initiatives that are oriented to providing a structured and effective complaints redressal mechanism. The cell proactively gives an opportunity to everyone in visit to be listened to so that any feeling of injustice is sorted out promptly.

The Grievance Redressal Cell shall consider only individual grievances of specific nature of staff and students of the Centre raised individually by the concerned aggrieved employee/ student of the Centre.

The Grievance Redressal Cell shall not consider any grievance of general applicability or of collective nature of raised collectively by more than one employee/ student. After receiving any application the Cell will decide on the merit of case regarding scope of further discussion.
